FaceTime for PC Windows 10/8/7 | Step-By-Step Guide

FaceTime for PC Windows

Apple developed the famous video calling app FaceTime for iPhone and iPad users. But, the app is now available for all the devices and OSs. But, the bad news is FaceTime for PC Windows is not available. However, I have a solution that is discussed in the below blog that you can follow to use this app on a PC.

Description of FaceTime

FaceTime is an application that was developed by Apple tech giant. They developed that application for their users so that they (users) can easily see and connect with each other through the internet.

The increasing popularity of the FaceTime made the developers to modify this application and make it compatible for Android and Mac users.

Long-story-short, this application is a replacement for Skype and IMO video calling app. Its video calling is HD quality, but the resolution depends on a user’s device. The best thing about this application is that you can text and send media files via this software.

What Are the Requirements?

Before using FaceTime, make sure your PC meets with these requirements:

  • You PC must have Windows 7, Windows, 8.1, Windows XP, or Windows 10.
  • CPU speed must be more than 1 GHz.
  • At least 2 GB of RAM.
  • Decent internet connection.

How to Download and Install FaceTime on PC?

Its official PC version is not available. That’s why I have come up with a solution to legally use this tool on the computer. Follow these steps:

  1. You will need an Android emulator software to run the APK. I suggest BlueStacks.
  2. Install the BlueStacks.
  3. Download FaceTime APK file from the below download link.
  4. Open BlueStacks and navigate the APK file with it.
  5. Then Install the app.
  6. You are done. Now, enjoy using FaceTime on PC.

I hope you have successfully installed the FaceTime application on your computer. But, if you had any trouble, then share with me in the comment.
